WHERE  DID  THE TIME GO?

Months and months since I've written on this blog...perhaps this will be my form of meditation today.  This past fall, I suffered a major injury to my left hip and still am trying to find answers.  But because of this, I just can't climb the 23 steps up to #213 any longer.   I will now be in #193...as of May 1st...and it will be a monumental task after being upstairs for 5 years.  I continue every day to try to line up folks to help me....and each day, packing up the smaller things so that the larger things (shelves, work tables, wall glass shelves, filing cabinets etc. can be moved in first, then I can begin to settle in...and get some work done! 
I had originally scheduled a show for July 2013 but have, more realistically) rescheduled for September.   This past February I had quite the shock ... thought I had a show scheduled for April 1 at Cultural Arts Center/Glen Allen...called to verify...and found it was FEBRUARY lst!!  Somehow I was able to pull it together for "Every Which Way With Clay".  I will put up some pictures and corresponding poetry this coming week.  Much help from my "manager"/friend Harry in getting show hung ... pleased with the outcome though not sure how many folks saw the pieces.  Yet, any exposure is important.

The show in February brought together a range of pieces (none with nudes re Center), many of which were multi-media.   At least 10 had corresponding poetry as part of the display.
This hopefully will be the year that I DO get the website re-grounded -- as Frontpage now considered obsolete and have no website up at the moment. 

Now I look ahead to a show in the fall, a poetry book published through AuthorHouse, and a reconfigured website through which I can sell.

Almost midnite but was determined to say a bit to begin the reflection again.
